Step into the light with Stevie B

The Sloganizer! Just click here and see for yourself how you can come up with the coolest slogans, like these:

"Stevie B makes your day."

"Stevie B is forever."

"The Stevie B effect."

"Stevie B - Just do it!"

"Stevie B, in touch with tomorrow."

"Who wouldn't fight for Stevie B?"

"Oh my goddess, it's a Stevie B."

"Don't get in the way of Stevie B. "

"Stevie B. Making people sucessful in a changing world."

You could even insert the name Chuck Norris into it and come up with your own clean Chuck Norris trivia!

"Everyone should believe in Chuck Norris."

"Chuck Norris innovate your world."

"The magic of Chuck Norris."

"Who is Chuck Norris?"

"Chuck Norris will be for you what you want it to be."

"Chuck Norris. Making people sucessful in a changing world."

Anyway, that was fun.

In follow up to yesterday's entry. I called Staffing Connection and talked to my friend Rebecca who works there, and she tells me things are dry and nobody has been calling for temps, and there's no telling when it will pick up, days or weeks. These seasons happened while I worked at other temp agencies like Manpower and Global Human Resources; they'd have dry spells and then something would pick up--but the whole reason I went to Staffing Connection in the spring was because it didn't pick up enough, and SC was swamped with work, and I worked until I went to Holland and the rest is history. Anyway, I might go give Manpower and Global a visit and see if I'm still on their data base, increasing the odds of getting calls for temp work.

But, in the midst of all that, my government GST rebate check came in the mail, which was $59, and when I stopped by Auburn Bible Chapel to talk to the pastor, there was a check in my mailbox for $25. Not much, but I can finally put a litre of gas in my tank! (Did I already rant about how expensive gas is?!). And my friend gave me ten bucks when we went for a coffee, as well another visitor to my blog who will remain nameless, offered me twenty bucks when he comes over to the apartment today--so that's like $114 just out of nowhere. At any rate, God is good and it's great how He supplies our needs and ties us over.

You may get bored reading me testify to these little sums of money because they're not thousands of dollars and I'm not doing a good enough job preaching the false prosperity Gospel and don't have "Lexus faith", but trust me, when I go through my archives and read these entries of the past where my gas was paid or I had cash while having a few days off from work, my faith is boosted for when I need to depend on God again. And I love telling how God my God is, whether I'm in want or abundance.

David, before taking on Goliath, reminded himself of how the Lord gave him victory against the bear and the lion, and boosted his faith.

We need to remind ourselves of what the Lord has done, and blogger is a great tool for that!

Anyway as the Sloganizer would say, "Jesus, makes your day!"
